It is a new magnetic separator system developed and patented by MERTA Filtration to eliminate the efficiency and design handicaps of magnetic liquid separators. It is a system where very high power Neodymium magnets are placed in a closed drum, contact with the liquid and particle transport is done through a band and stripping is carried out outside the magnetic field. It is strongly recommended in systems with high ferromagnetic particles, especially metal working fluids. The particle separation rate and capacity from the liquid are unrivaled. In many applications, without an additional paper filter unit, it alone captures the level of cleaning desired by the system.
